At Carinya, we have a small breeding program that focuses on health and temperament first and foremost and of course on breed conformation.

All Carinya British kittens are born and raised in our home and have lots of cuddles and attention. Babies are handled from birth to ensure an easy disposition. At this stage we breed mainly blues but occasionally have a bi-colour litter.

All of our British have been fully DNA tested and only those negative for known heritable diseases are bred with. Our cattery is clear of FeLV and Feline Aides and all British are FALPS negative.  IN November 2019, all adult breeding cats were also heart scanned clear – this is an ongoing process and will be repeated.

Kittens are sometimes available to suitable indoor homes. All kittens will be desexed, vaccinated X 2 and microchipped before leaving for their new homes. They also come with registration / pedigree from Cats Qld Inc. A kitten pack which includes food, complete instructions on diet etc plus a 6 week insurance policy with Pet Plan are also included.
